Being an 18 year old high school senior doesn't bring a very complicated life. The biggest problem for me is trying to avoid all the nonstop high school drama. When kids thinking about high school they all want to be the popular one and the one everyone loves, but I think flying under the radar is a lot whole better. As the end of my high school career draws near I'm beginning to realize there is more to life then I could ever imagine. My life current revolves around softball and trying to win the state title. I always planned on playing for college and now I realize that its not what I wanted in the first place. I made myself believe it was because that's what my family expected of me. Rikki,
ReplyDeleteThis looks awesome! Good job customizing the blog to your liking. I like the background pictures, and the text is readable. Nice work.
Your topic seems to be a good one, and it leaves you open to write about whatever crosses your mind. Just do a lot of reading, and you will always come across interesting topics that you can share your opinion about. I like this first post-it sort of sets the readers up for what to expect. Write some more posts over the next couple of weeks and document that transition you are about to make from high school student to graduate.
Some tips:
-Find any opportunity to include pictures, videos, or other visuals in your posts. It will break up the text and give your reader something to draw them in.
-With every post, ask yourself, "How can I help my reader to better understand this topic?" This might lead you to including links to other articles, other blogs, videos, or anything that will give the reader a better understanding of the topic you just wrote about. Use your blog to inform and educate people-to introduce people to new ideas. IF people feel like your blog is really doing something for them, they will keep coming back.
All in all, a good start. I look forward to being a follower of this blog!
