It's All Come Down to This!

At my school the softball team hasn't won a state title since 1994. Every year the softball team makes it to the state playoffs, but they never come back with a title. This year our team is the one everyone is aiming for, we are expected to be in the state champion game. We've spent all season preparing for this and now it all comes down to these next two weekends. Four teams are standing in the way of us and our title. We've heard it from our coaches, our families, and definitely heard it from our friends, the state title is OURS! Today is only the beginning of what we've worked so hard for. The running, the practice, the getting yelled at, our ups and downs all come down to these 4 games. There's nothing more nerve racking then sitting on the bus heading to phoenix watching the cactus go by and thinking about the game. It definitely puts a knot in my throat that any game might be my last, but it gives me a kind of motivation to give it 100%. It's a surreal feeling knowing that the game I know and love is slowly but surely coming to an end. Like I tell my team clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose! <3
